All aspects of Commercial Litigation/ Dispute Resolution, in particular contractual and commercial  and construction disputes as well as professional negligence cases. I am a dual qualified Solicitor and Rechtsanwältin. As such, I am able to offer English legal advice to German speaking clients and German law advice to English clients.

Trial of preliminary issues of jurisdiction and applicable laws in complex cross border insolvency case.

Ultra Motorhomes International Ltd v (1) Ultra Vehicle Design Ltd and (2) Behlke Electronic GmbH [2006] EWHC 3236 (Ch), Patten J
Trial of complex title dispute over substantial asset between the supervisor of the CVA of an (insolvent) UK company and its German customer with a security interest over the asset.

Schwarzgorn -v- Stolle (2008)
Acted for Claimant who successfully obtained Freezing Injunction and thereafter Judgment in the Manchester High Court of Justice, Queen's Bench Division, Mercantile List before HHJ Hegarty QC. A point of interest in the case was that jurisdiction lay with the English courts who had to apply German law to the dispute.

Waterfall -v- HSBC Private Bank (UK) Ltd [LTL, 17.10.2008]
Trial over interpretation of the interpretation of the Rules of the Securities and Futures Authorities and the Financial Services Authority on the suitability of investment advice and the management of investment funds. The case decided issues in relation to the liabilities and responsibilities imposed on a financial institution, subject to the SFA/FSA, when providing private investment services.
