My experience/ cases of note
I recently assisted with the defending of a high profile sporting association case, involving allegations of unfair dismissal and breach of contract. I liaised with the client and our leading London QC from the outset of the matter to trial, which concluded in a six figure settlement that was favourable to our client.
I advise both corporate clients and individuals on employment law issues which includes both contentious and non contentious work. My experience includes unfair dismissal, breach of contract and discrimination claims. My non contentious work includes drafting terms and conditions of employment, procedures, compromise agreements and advising on a wide range of workplace enquiries. I have spent time in house on secondment for a retail PLC client and regularly present at our GDHR seminars.
What I do when I'm not at work
Spend time with my friends and family. I enjoy the music scene in Manchester, shopping and fashion. I play netball, try to do as much running as possible, (which varies from time to time!) and have just started snowboarding lessons.
