My specialist area
I advise a wide range of clients on all aspects of corporate and commercial law including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, corporate finance and private equity investments.
I have particular expertise in acquisitions and disposals of retail pharmacies having advised on transactions involving the acquisition and disposal of over 100 retail pharmacy outlets.
I also have a growing number of clients in the media, I.T. and technology sectors, a number of whom have secured private equity investment.

My experience/ cases of note
My experience covers a broad range of corporate transactions, with a particular emphasis on the acquisition and sale of retail pharmacy businesses. I also assist a number of media businesses with general commercial advice and have assisted many clients with the disposal of owner-managed businesses.
Two recent cases of note (both in 2011) are:
- Advising Cohens Chemists on its acquisition of Assura Pharmacy Limited for £39.3m. More details here
- Advising Assist Support Services Group Limited and Assist Recruitment Limited on their respective restructuring and merger with HC Recruitment Limited to create a new recruitment group with turnover exceeding £45m. More details here
My additional qualifications
Securities and Investment Institute Certificate in Corporate Finance. I plan to study for the 'CF' Corporate Finance designation and already assist with advising clients of the firm on funding issues.
What I do when I'm not at work
I am a keen sportsman and play football and golf regularly as well as watching live music as often as possible. I also have a keen interest in travelling and visited much of Eastern Europe before joining George Davies as a trainee.
