Mustard Tree
The firm's chosen charity in 2009 was the Mustard Tree, a Christian charity based in North Manchester which helps "To improve and rebuild the lives of homeless and marginalised people in Manchester."
They do this by providing emergency food parcels, clothing, and furniture from their base in Ancoats. They also provide training courses and volunteering opportunities.
Clients of Mustard Tree include many different people such as:
- Those living on the streets or in temporary accommodation
- Refugees and asylum seekers
- People recovering from addictions
- The long term unemployed
- Those recently released from prison
- Families with little money who are setting up home
We are pleased to announce that the firm's fundraising efforts raised over £8000 for Mustard Tree in 2009.
