George Davies sports lawyers re-appointed to Sport Resolutions Panel

Three sports lawyers at leading Manchester law firm George Davies have been re-appointed to Sport Resolutions panel of arbitrators and mediators until 2015.

Managing partner Mark Hovell continues his Chairman’s List appointment in the arbitrator – legal member category, partner John Hewison is re-appointed as a mediator and consultant Walter Nicholls is re-appointed in the arbitrator – specialist member category.

London based Sport Resolutions is the independent dispute resolution service for sport in the United Kingdom. It offers arbitration, mediation and panel appointment services. It also operates the National Anti-Doping Panel.
 
Sport Resolutions has experience of appointing to and administering over 250 disputes, across 50 sports, with three-quarters of enquiries and referrals coming from Olympic, Paralympic and English high performance sports. Sport Resolutions delivers its services through its expert panels of mediators and arbitrators, all leaders in the field and recruited for their unique understanding of the UK sporting system.
