George Davies shortlisted for six Manchester Legal Awards

Leading Manchester law firm George Davies is proud to be shortlisted in six categories at this year’s Manchester Legal Awards, a record for the Firm. The awards, now in their third year, are organised by the Manchester Law Society in partnership with the Manchester Evening News.

The Society will now be interviewing key members of the George Davies’ team to decide whether the firm will win the titles of Medium Law Firm of the Year; Partner of the Year (Mark Hovell); Trainee of the Year (Amanda Bailey); Private Client Team of the Year; Corporate/Commercial Team of the Year; and Pro Bono/Community Initiative.

Partner, and Head of Private Client, Tony Hall commented “It is absolutely fantastic to be shortlisted in six categories, it is a great recognition of the skills and talents we have as a firm and I am really proud of the teams for their achievement.”

Managing Partner Mark Hovell also commented “Having won Medium Law firm of the Year in 2011 and to be shortlisted again in 2012 is a perfect demonstration of our commitment to providing the best all round service to our clients.”

Interviews will take place on Friday 20th January 2012 and winners will be announced at the Manchester Legal Awards ceremony at the Midland Hotel on Thursday 1st March 2012.
