George Davies Solicitor appointed as member of Solicitors for the Elderly
Solicitor Caroline Pinney of leading Manchester law firm George Davies has been accepted as a full professional member of the national association 'Solicitors for the Elderly' (SFE).
SFE is a national association of lawyers who specialise in services for older people and their carers. Members of SFE have a wealth of experience within this key area and they are required to have spent a substantial amount of time working for elderly clients. The aim of the association is to improve the knowledge and service provided on legal issues including, tax planning, wills, powers of attorney, long-term social and health care and other retirement issues.
Caroline is part of the Elderly Services team at George Davies, which specialises in advising elderly clients on a variety of matters.
Caroline also takes part in a Wills initiative which is run by the Manchester branch of national charity Age Concern. As part of this initiative Caroline meets with pensioners and their carers at Age Concern’s Manchester office to provide legal advice.
Caroline commented: "I have been specialising in legal services for the elderly for a number of years, and am looking forward to continuing my development in this area so that I am able to give my clients and colleagues first class advice in a field of law which is constantly evolving as the requirements of the elderly population change.”
