GD Promotes Lawyer to Business Development Manager

Leading mid-tier Manchester law firm George Davies has promoted solicitor Lindsey Farrelly to the role of Business Development Manager.

Lindsey, who has been with the firm for five years, moved into a non fee earning role at the start of 2009 which sees her responsible for the firms PR, tendering and marketing projects.

Managing partner Mark Hovell commented "We made the strategic decision 15 months ago to put a lawyer in the Business Development team. Lindsey's previous experience as a corporate/commercial specialist means she is able to take a lot of the non fee earning/marketing functions away from the lawyers such as drafting tender submissions, newsletters and submissions for legal directories. In addition Lindsey is now responsible for all of the firms pr which has significantly increased since she joined the team. This promotion is in recognition of Lindsey's hard work and commitment to this role."
