College Work for GD Lawyers

Lawyers Anne Fairhurst, Nicky Collins, Catherine Kay, Jennifer Lewis and David Easdown from George Davies Solicitors have been working around the clock advising the Further Education College Bolton Community College on the sale of its current site, the purchase of its new site, the construction of its new building and its funding arrangements.

Contracts for the new site exchanged earlier this month. This will see Bolton Community College and Bolton Sixth Form College jointly relocate to the new site at Deane Road in Bolton. The new £67million Community College is set to open its doors in September 2010.

The re-development is one of only eight capital projects in the country to be given the go-ahead by the Learning Skills Council earlier this year.
