Junior legal executive – employment
We are currently seeking a junior legal executive to work in our busy employment department.
The role would cover all aspects of employment law with a focus on:
• Assisting with the management and preparation of Employment Tribunal claims,
• Providing advice on all areas of employment law to employee and employer clients,
• Preparing and presenting at seminars aimed at employers,
• Drafting employment documentation including contracts, policies and staff handbooks.
Candidate specification
The successful candidate will/will be:
• A qualified legal executive with the Institute of Legal Executives (or foreign equivalent),
• Enthusiastic and committed,
• Willing to learn and hard-working,
• Have good communication skills; both written and verbal,
• Possess strong organisational skills,
• Have good interpersonal skills,
• Able to deal with a wide variety of people and work well under pressure,
• Flexible due to occasional ‘out of hours’ seminars.
Previous experience in employment law is essential.
